Story of Peter Rogers Stark
Background Story
Peter Rogers Stark is probably best described as someone who loves a well-told story—whether in movies, books, or music. For this he partially “blames” his creative mother, who read to her sons from tales she wrote and illustrated as bedtime stories, eventually graduating them to the Narnia books among others. So, perhaps it was natural that he would be drawn to writing from an early age (as would his brother, who writes and also illustrates his own work).
His love of films eventually turned him into a movie theatre projectionist; his love of music led to a massive home stereo system; and his love of books led him to become an author.
Stark had penned numerous poems and short stories over the years, but had never attempted a novel. Then, one day, he found a story in his head that simply refused to go away until he put it on paper. Setting aside the time, he sat down to write The Majaran Trilogy. Thus began the epic fantasy adventure written for everyone who, like its author, loves a well-told story.
